Bobby Schnabel is CEO of the Association for Computing Machinery, the world’s largest and foremost professional computing society. From 2007-2015 he was Dean of the School of Informatics and Computing (which includes computer science) at Indiana University. Prior to that he was on the computer science faculty at the University of Colorado at Boulder, including serving as department chair, and as founding director of the campus-wide ATLAS (Alliance for Technology, Learning and Society) Institute. He currently serves on the advisory committee for the Computing and Information Science and Engineering directorate of the National Science Foundation.
